How do I care for my sensitive skin, paying her special attention during the winter months? I have been trying to find this answer since I was 15 years old.
After a lot of successful and not so successful attempts, visits to various beauty salons, reading countless articles, and I countless hours spent watching YouTube videos, I think I can share what I’ve been using and have learned on this topic.
Below in the post you will be able to see the products that I use and some information about them, this post is not sponsored, these are products that I buy and use with great pleasure and since I see positive results, I’ve decided to share them with you.
My skin is quite sensitive and for this reason I can not afford to use very aggressive products on it. From my attempts at cleaning, peeling and therapies over the years, I have come up with a very interesting thesis I have heard many times from different people, but somehow I did not believe that this may be true.
Do you remember the words: “If you drink water, your skin will be more elastic, it will shine, the complexion will be more clear and the acne will be reduced”?
This statement is quite true, but I only realized that it worked only when I ‘ve started to really drink these 8 glasses of water (or about 1.5 lbs). Until before, I thought this was another myth in the beauty circles.
“Clean your face before going to bed.”
Yes, I confess, until a few years ago I did not follow this advice. However, lately, I have become quite strict in evening facial cleansing and the steps I follow are the following:
- Step 1: I use a face wash cream for Sensitive Skin
When applied, the gel is transformed as a cleansing foam and is specially formulated for sensitive and reddening skin. Hypoallergenic and does not contain parabens and soap, softens and smooths, preventing moisture loss and drying, and sweet almond oil has anti-inflammatory action.
- Step 2: I use Cleansing milk for sensitive skin
It gently cleanses and removes remnants of makeup and dirt. It acts favorably on this type of skin and can be applied even on the delicate area of the eye contour. Its formula is ultra gentle and light, moisturises the epidermis and relieves discomfort. After use, the feeling of irritation and tension is removed, the skin remains soft, soothing and less susceptible to external factors.
- Step 3: Calming toner
With the help of its active ingredients and rose extract, it vitalizes and soothes the skin and makes it soft as velvet. The formula contains “deionized” water that further refreshes and activates skin functions. Perfectly cleansed, the skin is hydrated, refreshed, soft and gentle.
- Step 4: Apply Hydrating Products: Nourishing Face Oil and Soothing Gel Serum for Sensitive and Dehydrated Skin
L’oreal face oil has an anti-gel effect, nourishes deep and restores the skin. Enriched with essential oils, nourishes and revitalizes the skin, has a pretty interesting scent and leaves no greasy film behind.
This face-gel gel with intensive and hydrating properties enriched with hyaluronic acid, which is a natural component of the skin’s structure. The active ingredients have anti-inflammatory properties, minimize the appearance of allergic reactions and act extremely favorably. The delicate texture of the gel-serum is easy to apply and enjoyable. After use, the face has been successfully cleaned, fortified, with velvety softness and improved appearance. Its texture absorbs quickly and easily.
For some time now, I use two face masks once every week: Garnier Pure Self-Warming Face Mask with Zinc and Garnier Skin Naturals Moisture + Aqua Bomb Tissue Mask.
I use them consistently, as the self-healing mask cleanses the pores and skin of the face in depth, releases from dirt and excess sebum.
While the hydrated cotton mask is soaked in concentrated serum that contributes to permanent moisturization – there are glycerin and hyaluronic acid that act anti-inflammatory and intensely hydrate. The formula is pomegranate extract with antioxidant, moisturizing and softening properties. I have only one problem with this mask, and it is that it does not fit very well on my face because it is less and I have little difficulty in more precise placement.
What I have learned over the years is that in order to have healthy and clean skin, you need to take care of yourself every day. Whether you use these products or not, it completely depends on your skin type and your tolerance to certain ingredients and products. What I can give as advice is – do daily care, read, test, I will be glad to have a discussion and let me know what are the products that work for you and your skin!(?)
Thanks for being here and reading my thoughts, I hope that the content it’s interesting and I hope to speak to you soon!
